More about Me.
I thought it would be nice to introduce myself a little bit. Hi, my name is Dasha. I was born and raised in Russian family in Latvia. From young age I took a lot of courses that had something to do with art: acting, dancing and singing. Seven years ago I have moved to the Nederlands with my parents and my oldest brother, what putted my art activities on stop for a short period of time. After less than a half a year, I started to work on musicals at a Dutch "Muziek and Dans school" in Amstelveen.
When I was in my first year of higher general secondary education, I started to work more on my own art style and make progress in areas like anatomy and perspective. At the time I really got into comics and animation movies/shows as well, what gave me some inspiration for my own work. I didn't know much about art at the time and I didn't had a good explanation either. I had to find out about everything by myself. And honestly, that made my progress even more fun and enjoyable to experience.
Seven years later, and I can proudly say that my art is not perfect. It's still need some final touches or even some anatomy correction. But, that only means that I have more goals to set and more experience to achieve! After all, art is something that makes you feel joy, or even happiness. At least, thats what art is for me!
